Case Study: Duke University

The Dilemma:  The Duke University Health Information Division rented a 30,000 sq ft warehouse facility where they stored old patient records.  Due to a lease dispute, Duke decided not to renew the lease which expired within 2 weeks.  The 30,000 SF warehouse facility was packed floor to ceiling with metal shelving that needed to be removed prior to the end of the lease.  This behemoth of a job seemed insurmountable, especially in the face of the looming 2 week deadline.

Our Solution:  Under the gun, TurboHaul mobilized a large 16 man crew to systematically dismantle the large metal shelving units which filled the warehouse.  Equipped with safety gear, power tools, a scissor lift, and two TurboTrucks, our crew of highly trained TurboMen worked tirelessy dismantling the shelving units in a safe and organized fashion.  Moving their way from one end to the other of the expansive facility our heroes completed the project on time and under budget, recycling over 156,000 lbs of metal in the process.  Once again, TurboHaul Saves the Day!
